RECOMMENDED WAYS TO USE :-

  • Exemptia 40MG Prefilled Syringe is a medication your doctor will tell you how often to use based on your condition and age.
  • To help you remember when to use Exemptia 40MG Prefilled Syringe, mark the days you are scheduled to use it on your calendar. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand. Use this medication exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than you have been told by your doctor.
  • Before using Exemptia 40mg Prefilled Syringe  yourself the first time, read the written instructions that come with it. Should you have any further questions, ask your doctor.
  • Use each syringe only once and all the solution in the syringe. Even if there is still some solution left in the syringe after using, do not use again. Dispose of used syringes in a puncture-resistant container. Talk to your doctor about how to dispose of the puncture-resistant container.
  • If you are using an Exemptia 40MG Prefilled Syringe that has been refrigerated, place the syringe on a flat surface without removing the cap and allow it warm to room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes before you are ready to use the medication. Do not try to warm the medication by heating it in a microwave, placing it in hot water, or through any other method.
  • Be careful not to drop or crush the prefilled syringes as they may break.
  • You can use Exemptia 40MG Prefilled Syringe anywhere on the front of your thighs or stomach except your navel and the area 2 inches (5 centimeters) around it. To reduce the chances of soreness or redness, use a different site for each syringe. Space each use at least 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) away from a spot that you have already used. Keep a list of the places where you have already used so that you will not re-use in these places again. Do not use in an area where the skin is tender, bruised, red, or hard or where you have scars or stretch marks.
  • Always look at any syringe before using it. Check that the expiration date has not passed, that the syringe contains the correct amount of liquid, and that the liquid is clear and colorless. Do not use any syringe if it is expired, if it does not contain the correct amount of liquid, or if the liquid is cloudy or contains flakes.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT STORAGE AND DISPOSAL OF THIS MEDICATION?:-

Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it in the refrigerator and protect it from light. Exemptia 40 mg may also be stored at room temperature (up to 77°F [25°C]) for up to 14 days and protected from light. If the medication is stored at room temperature for more than 14 days and it is not used, it must be disposed. Do not freeze it. Dispose of any medication that has been frozen.

Unneeded medications should be disposed of in special ways to ensure that pets, children, and other people cannot consume them. However, you should not flush this medication down the toilet. Instead, the best way to dispose of your medication is through a medicine take-back program. Talk to your local pharmacist or contact your garbage/recycling department to learn about take-back programs in your community. See the FDA’s Safe Disposal of Medicines website for more information if you do not have access to a take-back program.

It is important to keep all medication out of sight and reach of children as many containers (such as weekly pill minders and those for eye drops, creams, patches, and inhalers) are not child-resistant and young children can open them easily. To protect young children from poisoning, always lock safety caps and immediately place the medication in a safe location – one that is up and away and out of their sight and reach.
