Liothyronine is used in the treatment of hypothyroidism or also known as low thyroid hormone, Liothyronine is also used to treat or prevent goiter which is known as enlarged thyroid gland.

How it Works

Liothyronine restores the balance of thyroid hormone in the body which works to regulate the body’s energy and metabolism. Liothyronine is given when the thyroid does not produce enough of this hormone on its own.
